Mercedes-Benz of Covington Honored with the Philanthropic Leadership Award

At Mercedes-Benz of Covington, we believe true leadership goes beyond the showroom. That’s why we’re incredibly proud to share that our dealership has been recognized with the Mercedes-Benz Philanthropic Leadership Award, an honor awarded to only ten Mercedes-Benz dealerships nationwide each year.

This award reflects a long-term dedication to giving back, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to represent the Northshore community through meaningful partnerships and impactful charitable involvement.

What the Philanthropic Leadership Award Represents

Every year, Mercedes-Benz recognizes dealerships that demonstrate a consistent commitment to driving positive change. The Philanthropic Leadership Award honors dealers who invest in their communities not only through financial contributions, but also through hands-on volunteerism and long-term nonprofit partnerships.

This recognition is awarded through an annual application process, with dealer applicants selected quarterly throughout the year to highlight the incredible work happening across the Mercedes-Benz dealer network.

For Mercedes-Benz of Covington, being selected reflects what we value most: community involvement that creates real, lasting impact.

Supporting Mutts to Models and the Northshore Community

This recognition also celebrates our involvement in Mutts to Models, one of the Northshore’s premier philanthropic events. Mutts to Models is a powerful effort fueled by local generosity, designed to uplift those in need.

Through this event, critical funding is raised for Scott’s Wish, an organization that provides vital assistance to nearly 150 critically ill patients each year. These funds help families manage real-world burdens during incredibly difficult times, including:

• Utility bills
• Medical travel expenses
• Emergency living costs
• Other essential needs that often arise unexpectedly

It’s a mission that makes a direct difference, and we are proud to support a cause that brings relief and hope to so many.

Helping Abandoned Pets and Honoring Our Nation’s K9 Heroes

The impact of Mutts to Models extends even further. In addition to supporting Scott’s Wish, these charitable efforts help provide lifesaving care for abandoned pets, ensuring animals in need receive shelter, medical treatment, and a chance at a better life.

This initiative also supports The Duco Project, which provides care for retired Special Operations Forces K9s—incredible dogs who have served our country with bravery and loyalty. Supporting these K9 heroes after their service is not only meaningful, it’s the least we can do to honor their sacrifice.
