Here at Mercedes-Benz of Covington, we like to point out how the Mercedes-Benz brand has years of history and pedigree behind it. With every modern new vehicle you can find in our showroom, you see the progress that has been made from the luxury automaker's humble beginnings to it being a worldwide brand that is synonymous with luxury and innovation. And for all of us who drive it, we feel it, and that's why we ought to take a moment to recognize the first driver of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle.

Bertha Benz was the business partner and wife of automotive inventor Karl Benz, which is where we get the "Benz" in Mercedes-Benz. She became the first person to drive an automobile over a long distance, which helped the patent for what is considered the first Mercedes-Benz model gain attention, and the beginning of the company that still is going strong to this day. Of course, the vehicle was a lot different from what we're used to now, but it goes to show you how pioneering not only Bertha was, but the entire brand as we look at the many firsts from Mercedes-Benz, all while improving and maintaining the stellar reputation that puts it among the most desirable vehicles on the market.

You too can be a part of that when you stop in and take a look at our selection of Mercedes-Benz Vehicles here in our showroom in Covington. We'd be happy to provide you with all the details, answer any questions and help you discover which one of our luxury Mercedes-Benz vehicles is right for you.
